Taman Ujung Water Temple
About 5km southeast of Amlapura, near the village of Ujung on the road of Seraya. It was built in 1919 by the king of Karangasem Regency to host important guest and kings of neighbouring countries. The Taman Water Palace has been destroyed by the eruption of Mount Agung in 1963 and further by an earthquake in 1979.
Tirta Gangga Water Temple
A lovely maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a lush garden with stone carvings and statue. One of the most popular places in Bali, located on the South West cost. It offers a world famous sunset. At the base of the island, hidden in some nooks an the coral reef around the Temple, sea snakes are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits and intruders.
One of the oldest Balinese Traditional Village located in Karangasem Regency, east part of Bali. It owns very unique local community life pattern which is one example of Bali Aga Village cultures (Hindu Prehistoric) and different with other countrysides in the plains of Bali.
