Nusa Penida - Mola Mola at Crystal Bay (Mola Alexandrini)

We reach Crystal Bay Nusa Penida after 40 minutes by boat from Padang Bai. Minimum 4 divers, send us a message to check our schedule.

Very good variety and number of hard and soft coral.

Fish

Big variety of tropical reef fish and Mola Mola (oceanic sunfish) in season (July to October).

Can be anything from mild to strong depending on the moon.

Nusa Penida - Drift

Required experience

★ ★ ☆ Advanced open water diver with a minimum of 20 dives.

Location Type

Nusa Penida Drift is on Bali’s sister island, about 8km east. Sloping reefs, canyons and walls.

Access

20 minutes by boat from Padang Bai to the 10 different dive sites on the north coast of Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan.

Coral

The Nusa Penida Corals are from a very good quality and the island host a good variety and number of hard and soft coral.

Fish

Best variety of tropical reef fish in Bali, you probably see most of south east Asia’s marine species in only one dive. Often seeing pelagic species such as tuna, manta ray and oceanic sunfish during the drift dive. This place is also great to spot some turtles.

Current

Can be anything from mild to strong depending on the moon. Mostly drift diving.

Visibility

25-50 m even in the rainy seasons.

Note

Generally, diving conditions are best in the morning. You can do 2 dives as a morning dive and we are back for lunch in the resort.

Highlight

Sloping reef, drift dive with masses of fish, with pelagics in the blue. And of course the variety of the Nusa Penida Corals!
