Absolute Scuba will provide services based on the following Terms and Conditions
The clients’ acceptance of verbal or written confirmation constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Payments: Full payment is to be made on check in.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations of booked diving; we retain the right to charge 50% of the dive site price for cancellations with 48 hours notice. Cancellation of booked diving on the day is charged at 100% of the dive site price. This is compensation for potential lost bookings.
Changes to your booking: Please inform us of any changes to your booking at the soonest opportunity. If you decide to change your booking after you have made your reservation we will do what we reasonably can to accommodate you but it may not always be possible. You should notify us as soon as possible of any changes as the sooner you do this the more likely it is that we can make the change.
Documentation: For travel to Indonesia one must have a valid Passport that has at least 6 more month’s validity after the planned departure date.
Responsibility and Liability:
Scuba Divers must have a valid Diver Certification Card. Only certified divers may participate in dive packages. Scuba divers are fully and completely responsible for themselves and their equipment. The only equipment routinely supplied on dive packages are tanks, weights, and weight belt. The client understands and accepts all risks associated with any and all activities, and land travel and water sports engaged in, including but not limited to swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and boating.
In making use of any services of Absolute Scuba, the client accepts, and agrees to abide by these aforestated Terms and Conditions. It is our pleasure to serve you.
Absolute Scuba strongly advises all our guests to take good travel insurance, it is a good idea to include emergency medical evacuation. Also loss of stay/dives due to delay of flights or not being able to dive due to sickness should be considered.
Divers are also advised to join DAN or a similar organization.
Please note that rates are subject to change without notice.
Liability Release and Assumption of Risk
Absolute Scuba cannot be held liable for and will not be responsible for personal injuries, property damage, or wrongful death that may occur during activities, as a result of the inherent risks associated with scuba diving or as a result of acts or omissions of other third parties.
Diving requires a certification from a recognised dive agency. It is your responsibility that you are suitably qualified, and provide proof of such qualification upon request, to participate in any scuba activities prior to you taking part. Such activities include all activities other than training dive course activities that allow participants to take part without a license.
If there are any changes to the details supplied to us by you it is your responsibility to inform Absolute Scuba as soon as possible. In particular we will not be responsible for problems arising from your failure to adhere to instructions in our emails or correspondence (e.g. late changes to your transfer information, your failure to satisfy passport documentation requirements etc).
ITINERARY CHANGES:
The itinerary presented is subject to modification and change by the Absolute Scuba. Every reasonable effort will be made to operate programmes as planned, but alterations may still occur.
Please note that the number of dives we quote in our dive packages is a best estimate based on normal circumstances, not a guarantee. Circumstances may arise during vacations (weather, illness, personal choice) where the total number of dives done is less than the number we estimate. There will be no partial refunds in these circumstances. Please note: dives are not transferable.
